Why do I see "Shibboleth Identity Provider - Access Denied"
Answer
Institutional login on journal and database sites via "University of Tennessee" is for UT Knoxville personnel only.
The primary exception to this is NCBI/PubMed since there it has no subscription content.
Each UT campus has unique subscriptions and UTHSC does not have a unique Shibboleth instance.
The alternative we recommend: installing the LibKey Nomad browser extension.
Once LibKey Nomad is installed on your browser of choice, select UTHSC as institution.
LibKey Nomad places links within PubMed and on journal websites and provides direct "Download PDF" and "Article Link" icons. Retraction alerts are also included.
If not available directly, an "Access Options" link enables you to seamlessly submit free interlibrary loan requests.
